Our Early Childhood Educator position empowers you to become a highly skilled educator dedicated to fostering a love of learning in children from infancy to toddlerhood. You'll play a vital role in shaping young minds, using the renowned Creative Curriculum to create engaging, interactive experiences that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth. You’ll help infants discover the world around them, support toddlers in exploring their creativity, and lay the foundation for future academic success for our Preschoolers. You'll become an expert in early childhood education, equipped to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning in the children in your care.

  • Embrace Diversity and Authenticity by honoring and celebrating the unique backgrounds, culture, and identities of children and families. 

  • Approach each family with sensitivity, empathy, and an open mind so you can recognize and challenge biases, ensuring equitable treatment for all

  • The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families requires educators to complete  assessments, which evaluate knowledge and skills in areas like child development, learning environments, and program planning

 

By fostering a supportive community, you will help create a seamless transition between home and childcare, ensuring a strong foundation for lifelong well-being.

 

 

We will offer an $2/hr Education premium, however at minimum, you must hold a current Associates Degree in ECE or Child Development. Our career progression is represented as badge colors, these will match the colored lanyards you are expected to wear at all times.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Masters Degree or equivalent

Gold Badge starts at $28.00

A Day in the Life of a modern Early Childhood Educator:

Your work schedule is unique in that:

  • You determine planning time and cleanup time on your own terms

  • You are expected to teach two sessions per day, Monday - Friday, approx 3 hours each

  • You are expected to meet the State requirements for your position

  • You do not have caregiving responsibilities; your sole focus is teaching in the classroom

  • You will be following a pre-planned Curriculum (The Creative Curriculum) for your lessons

  • You will need some basic knowledge in Technology and using a Computer; training will be provided in using the classroom Smartboard
